NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, Nov. 9, 2018 - The Automotive Management Institute (AMi), the industry's leading provider of management education for automotive service and collision repair professionals, held its second graduation ceremony of 2018 on October 31 at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas. The formal graduation ceremony was part of the Red Carpet Awards Breakfast held in conjunction with SEMA and featured some of the most prestigious awards and industry recognition. AMi recognized students earning the Accredited Automotive Office Manager (AAOM), Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM), Accredited Master Collision-Repair Estimator (AMCE) and Accredited Master Automotive Manager (AMAM) designations during the ceremony. "It was honor to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of this group of industry professionals during our graduation ceremony. We are excited to see the growth of AMi reflected in the number of graduates and the diversity of certificates and professional designations being awarded," said AMi President, Jeff Peevy, AMAM. AMi role-based designations highlight the growing role soft skills and business management education play in the success of today's automotive repair business. Jeff Peevy, AMAM I met Dr. Rick Brinkman at a conference earlier this year and was intrigued by his approach to presenting and dealing with people you don't like or even can't stand! Since our meeting, the doctor and I have been working together to bring his online educational offerings to our industry. Be forewarned, his online courses are different, as they will have you laughing one minute and saying "oh wow" the next. Read Dr. Brinkman's article: SNIPERS AND WHINERS AND TANKS, OH MY!
