Collision Repair General Managers are responsible for leading all activities within a repair operation to achieve positive sales and profitability. They ensure customer satisfaction and retention through the leadership of staff to perform quality collision repairs. Master Collision Repair General Management - Accredited Master Automotive Manager (AMAM)

This designation recognizes those professionals that have not only achieved the AMi Collision Repair Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation, but have continued their studies to include an additional 60-credit hours for a total of 180-credit hours. Those holding this professional designation have extensive training and education in managing and leading a successful collision repair operation. This 180-credit hour professional designation requires the successful completion of the AMi Collision Repair Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) plus an additional 60 elective credit hours.

Collision Repair Estimator - Accredited Collision-Repair Estimator (ACE)

Collision Repair Estimators interact with customers, insurance staff, internal shop and office staff and more. The position requires sound people and office skills, the ability to be precise and detailed, possess an understanding of vehicle technology and knowledge of estimating and information software. Estimators play an important role in shop profitability and efficiency. The AMi ACE professional designation represents key knowledge areas of professional knowledge and skills (non-technical), technical damage analysis, and information and estimating systems. The ACE designation requires training, testing and verification from AMi, I-CAR® and Information/Estimating System Providers. This master-level designation recognizes those professionals that have not only achieved the AMi Accredited Collision-Repair Estimator (ACE) designation, but have continued their professional endeavors to include an additional 10-credit hours of estimator specific electives. In addition, the AMAM requires achieving and maintaining the I-CAR® Platinum™ Estimator or APDA ProLevel® 3 or above and the achieve and maintain the ASE (B6) Damage Analysis and Estimating Certification (5 year recertification verification required).
