Bedford, Texas, Sept. 24, 2009 — The Automotive Management Institute (AMI), in conjunction with Zurich, formerly Universal Underwriters Group, recently announced Bill Langton, owner, Primary Auto Care, Inc., State College, Pa., as the recipient of the Zurich “High Octane” Scholarship. The scholarship recognizes a management-oriented member of the Automotive Service Association (ASA) Mechanical Division. The recipient receives $1,000 to be applied toward expenses to attend AMI seminars offered during the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) in Las Vegas, Nov. 4-7.

Langton has worked in the automotive service industry for 22 years and has been a shop owner for the last 15. He is currently working on completing the necessary requirements to earn the Institute’s Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation. Langton is a member of the Automotive Service Association (ASA) and Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP). He is also active in his local church.

“I am honored to receive this award and grateful for this education and training opportunity. I am committed to seeking out the knowledge I need to propel my business into the future,” said Langton.
