Wynter Receives AMI Student Recognition Award
The award was presented by AMI Board of Trustees Chairman George Witt, AAM, during the Automotive Service Association (ASA) Celebration of Excellence, held May 2, in Orlando, Fla. “AMI is pleased to recognize Terry for his outstanding commitment to making continuing education and training a priority in both his business and personal life.” Wynter accepted the award and stated, “It is a great honor to be recognized for my deep commitment to training and education.” Wynter earned 51 credits by taking AMI classes at the 2008 ASA Annual Convention, the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) and the Automotive Video Training Conference. He earned an additional 98 credits by completing nine AMI-approved self-study courses. AMI was established to answer the demand for continuing education tailored specifically for the business needs of the automotive service industry. The Institute offers the Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation, the first business management accreditation exclusively for the automotive service professional. To date, AMI programs have attracted more than 177,000 enrollments throughout North America. AMI is a not-for-profit educational foundation to which tax-deductible contributions can be made. For more information about the Institute, its curriculum, or EXCEL, please contact AMI at (800) 272-7467, ext. 239, or visit the AMI Web site at www.amionline.org.
