Denise Lloyd Receives AMI Annual Recognition Award

Bedford, Texas, Nov. 17, 2004 - Denise Lloyd, publisher of BodyShop Business Magazine, received the Automotive Management Institute's (AMI's) most prestigious honor - the AMI Annual Recognition Award. The award is presented to an individual who has taken specific and significant action to encourage, enhance and support opportunities for automotive service industry professionals to improve their management and business skills.

The award was presented during the Automotive Service Association (ASA) Celebration of Excellence, held Nov. 5, in Las Vegas, by AMI Board of Trustees Chairman, John Francis, AAM. "For many years, Denise has given endlessly of her time, knowledge, wisdom and resources to guide and strengthen the Institute," said Francis. "The work she has done on behalf of the Institute exemplifies her dedication and true commitment to AMI's program and the automotive service industry."

Lloyd accepted the award and stated, "I'm proud to receive this award and honored that the Institute feels my contributions have been meaningful."

Lloyd has held numerous positions on the AMI Board of Trustees since 1999 and currently serves as Vice Chair.

AMI was established to answer the demand for continuing education tailored specifically for the business needs of the automotive service industry.
