Specialized Designation Program
Welcome to the Automotive Management Institute's (AMI's) new and innovative "Specialized Designation" program for automotive service and collision repair professionals. The program is the first of its kind for the automotive aftermarket with 10 new defined curriculums and designations for specific positions in a mechanical and collision repair facility.
Students with two years of mechanical or collision repair work experience may participate in the program and take focused management courses, either self-study or instructor-led, to enhance their skills and become more effective, productive and knowledgeable employees, managers and shop owners. After successfully completing the required curriculum and passing post-course exams, students receive their new "Specialized Degree" to proudly display, wear and promote.
Each of the 10 new designations has specific course requirements and electives.
