Bedford, Texas, Sept. 14, 2011 — The Automotive Management Institute (AMI), in conjunction with Automotive Video, Inc. (AVI), recently announced Benjamin Lee as the recipient of the “AVI Education Scholarship.” The scholarship recognizes automotive service professionals who have a strong desire to improve their management and technical skills. The recipient receives $1,000 to be applied toward expenses to attend seminars offered during the AVI Training Conference in Las Vegas, Oct. 31 – Nov. 1.
Lee, senior technician for Schoen Place Auto, East Rochester, N.Y., has worked in the automotive service industry for 10 years. He is an ASE Certified Master Level Technician.
“It gives me great pleasure to receive this scholarship. The more knowledge I have about servicing vehicles, the better equipped I am to share the knowledge with my coworkers so that we can provide a great service to our customers,” said Lee.
