Students with two years of collision repair work experience may participate in the following "Specialized Designation" programs for collision professionals. Each specialized designation allows students to take focused management courses, either self-study or instructor-led, to enhance their skills and become more effective, productive and knowledgeable employees, managers and shop owners.
After successfully completing the required curriculum and passing post-course exams, students receive their new "Specialized Designations" to proudly display, wear and promote. Topics of focus are listed to the right of each specialized designation. To obtain a specialized designation, students must complete an AMI-approved course in each topic of focus. Upon the completion of post-course exams, some students may be able to test out of recently added qualifying courses.
