Survival Skills for the Service Advisor

A class designed to help the service advisor with all the daily functions of the job. How to handle the different types of phone calls, including the "price shoppers," scheduling customer arrivals and controlling the transaction from the initial reception. Communication skills will be covered in the segment on writing a proper reapir order. Time management will also be taught along with how to efficiently put together an estimate. The student will also learn basic selling skills and how to make the big sales. The last part of the class gives the student the training to deal with difficult situations that arise in the business.

The service advisor in a small business must wear a number of "hats" and is considered a type of management. This class will explain areas related to their position, such as dispatching and ordering parts, as well as what numbers are important to any business and a basic understanding of what they mean.
