Managing by Process NOT by Luck

Lean Manufacturing, TOC, The Toyota Way! Call it whatever you want, but Mike Anderson's "Managing by Process NOT by Luck" seminar will help you to understand how to develop, train, test and audit your employees with the use of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The number one reason why vehicles don't go out on time is due to broken or incorrect parts not identified during the disassembly process. Learn how to manage by Process NOT by Luck and reduce the stress and chaos found in so many shops today. This course will provide you with the insight on how to avoid the top 10 reasons that prevent a vehicle from being delivered on time. This course is based on Mike Anderson's personal experiences on managing the repair process in multiple locations. The attendee will learn how to think "Outside the Box" in addressing today's collision repair needs. Learn to view obstacles as opportunities in work clothes! To standardize operations within a shop takes time and effort, but the returns on that upfront investment can be substantial. This class, the first in a series of Standard Operating Procedures classes offered by Michael Anderson, starts at the very beginning of the repair process, from parking the car in the lot, to driving into the shop, mapping out the damage, beginning the disassembly process in steps, properly storing new and damaged parts, ordering parts and receiving parts, following a quality control check list, reassembling the vehicle and delivering it back to the customer.
