Identifying, Measuring and Researching Your Potential

This course is designed to give independent automotive shop entrepreneurs the tools to quantify what their shops' potential is in the critical areas of management, such as gross sales, gross profit, labor potential, productivity, efficiency, cost of labor and parts profit margin, and net profit.

In conjunction with an interactive visual presentation, students are given industry specific standards of measurement and worksheets designed to enable them to perform trend line analysis of critical areas. A down-to-earth approach encourages students to work on their business by regularly tracking significant benchmarks and analyzing their work flow. An emphasis on spreadsheets is a common thread throughout this course.
