Tom Lynch
ACDelco

Tom Lynch is designated as an AC Delco Business Training Instructor. He has been in this capacity since September 2001. He is responsible for developing and conducting business training courses for AC Delco's W.D., Jobber and TSS accounts.

Tom has over 30 years experience in the automotive industry.

Prior to his current position, Tom was president and director of AAI; an aftermarket sales and management training firm located in Nashville. He came with the firm in 1979 and was there for 22 years. During those years with AAI he developed and conducted training programs at all levels of distribution in the aftermarket including automotive, PBE, heavy duty and industrial.

His specialty includes management sales, and customer service programs for manufacturers, distributors, jobbers as well as mechanical and collision repair shops.

Prior to AAI, Tom was a manufacturer's agent covering five states in the southeast primarily calling on heavy-duty distributors, fleets, industrial accounts and original equipment manufacturers.

From the late 1969's to the mid-70's he worked for NAPA at the Nashville distribution center. Starting out in the warehouse and moving through the system, he worked in many phases of warehouse and wholesale distribution operations.

In 1998 Tom received the "Automotive Aftermarket Management Education" award from Northwood University for his outstanding achievement and service to aftermarket education. He has also received the "Automotive Aftermarket Professional" designation presented by the University of the Aftermarket.
